Terms & conditions

• Campaign runs from 1 to 7 November 2026.
• 20% cashback on qualifying transactions in the specified merchant categories, capped at BDT 1,000 per transaction and BDT 2,000 per cardmember across the campaign.
• Minimum qualifying transaction amount is BDT 5,000. The per-transaction cap applies even when spending above BDT 5,000.
• City Bank American Express Platinum, Ultramarine, Gold and Blue consumer credit cards. FC/RFCD/ERQ cards excluded. Primary and supplementary cards share one cardmember campaign allowance; cashback is credited to the primary account.
• Covered categories: shopping (including clothing, footwear, apparel, fashion, arts and crafts), jewellery, beauty salons, entertainment (including theatre, motion pictures, media, shows/carnivals, arcades and amusement parks), dining, electronics and furniture.
• Qualifying POS and e-commerce transactions must be made in Bangladesh in local currency (BDT). Overseas transactions do not qualify.
• Cashback is credited within 30 working days after the campaign ends.
• Merchant existing savings may be combined where applicable, but not other City Bank offers. The FAQ specifically excludes merchants where existing City Bank hotel-chain B1G1/B1G2 offers apply. Do not advertise this cashback on top of another City Bank promotion.
• Refunds, cancellations and exchanges follow merchant policies.
• City Bank reserves the right to change, amend or stop the campaign without prior notice.
